Dear Community Members,

 

“Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.”

Last December, on GivingTuesday, Mr. Zabed Manir created a Fundraiser Event for BAFA on his personal Facebook page out of generosity. He invited seventy-six of his friends to this donation program. Forty-two of his friends contributed to that Fundraising event. He raised a total of $1501, and Facebook matched $5. Zabed Manir was one of the founders and first president of BAFA, and currently, he is a member of the BAFA Advisory Board.

We are delighted to share that we received the whole fund from Facebook/ Network for Goods. We express our sincere appreciation to Mr. Zabed Manir for his philanthropic initiative and sincere gratitude to all donors who contributed to this fund.
