The Bengali New Year holds a special place in our hearts as  Bangali people, woven deeply into our cultural fabric. Despite residing in distant lands, we remain steadfast in honoring our cherished traditions. This year, the Pohela Boishakh celebration of 2024, orchestrated by BAFA, showcased the rich talents of local artists from Albany, NY. In a captivating live performance held at the Latham Ridge Auditorium, 16 artists presented a dynamic 30-minute segment infused with Bangla songs, dance, and recitations. With an audience of 350 in attendance, the event reverberated with the essence of our cultural heritage. Eleeza Sattar and Zhakia Nilufar's careful selection of traditional music captured the essence of authenticity and nostalgia, embodying the "বটতলা " concept.
